Hi friends! I have another piece that I did for CHAB. I am having so much fun with these challenges and the projects being submitted are just incredible. My goodness, lots of eye candy each and every time. Here is a link so you can check it out and get in on all the fun too. http://gloriadesignschallenge.blogspot.com/2014/04/challenge-6-sketch-with-twist.html (You may have to copy and paste it into your browser. I haven’t got all this link stuff figured out yet.)
The challenge this time was a sketch and the twist was to use something new to your stash along with something older from your stash. Here is what I came up with:
This is going to be an anniversary gift for my nephew and his wife. And very much unlike me, it’s done early. LOL! It’s actually going into a shadow box but I couldn’t get a good picture of it so I took it apart again to get the pictures.
The older stash things are the doily, lace that I got with some blog candy a long while ago, the Pinkpaislee paper, Perfect Pearls pink gumball mist and the photos. I got the photos from their save the date postcard which I cut apart.
The new things are the flowers from Michaels that I misted with the Perfect Pearls mist, and the little banners are made with a punch I just got from Stampin’ Up.
I think they will like it and I love creating things with a specific person in mind.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Your comments really make my day.
